The Metro store in Zhongshan -- does it work like a Sam's Club in the US? I have heard that maybe it is more complicated, requiring a level of paperwork that might keep me unable to shop there. Being a foreign university teacher, do you know, would I have to do particular much to shop or get a membership there?

Went there this morning, could've easily mistaken the place for Ikea.
Nothing really out of the ordinary, other than its bulk buy orientated with some fresh vege available..and as previously mentioned, relaxing as there is hardly any people.
