Wreckage has been found in The Reunion Islands of what has been reported to be that of a Boeing 777. There are other options that it may be from two other aircraft one the May 4, 2006 crash of a twin-engine aircraft, the second in June 2009 an A310 crashed Yemeni airliner crashed.
Ocean current experts suggest however, that the anti clockwise flow of the Indian Ocean currents would bring the MH370 wreckage to these French Islands, Madagascar or to the East Coast of Africa.
Boeing have said that all parts of an Aircraft do have a distinct serial number and would be able to confirm within 24 hours if this is in fact the downed aircraft which disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Malaysia have sent a team of experts to the island to help with the investigation.
