Tiny Issues ... Simple Solutions

Zhongshan is a small town. It's filled with simple pleasures and occasionally, issues both huge and insignificant. As a very well-connected ex-pat community, one could play a very interesting game of "6 degrees" with most 1 year + ZS veterans. 

I was lucky enough to be raised properly - eat your vegetables; finish what's on your plate; if you have a problem with someone, go to them directly (thanks dad); never be too proud to apologize and, more importantly, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all (thanks, Thumper's mom). 

If you have a problem with someone, don't respond with hostility or cattiness. Civility or silence. Those are your best options. After being here for several years, I still don't understand how a community made up of mostly middle aged men could create and fuel so much gossip. Please, for the sake of everyone's sanity and peace of mind, if you are looking for advice, be civil and tactful. If you are looking for a fight, keep it between those involved.

Heal with hugs, not hatred people.
